Liturgical Living: Welcome to a new way of life!

The rhythm of liturgical living…

I’m so excited to explore the hidden treasures of our faith with you through this blog. Together, we will explore meaningful and practical ways to live out our Catholic faith and tradition. Ways to make our faith a living, breathing part of our daily routines. Do you want to incorporate liturgical living into your home? Are you struggling to find time for daily prayer? Maybe you are seeking inspiration to deepen your spiritual practice? If any of these resonate, then I can assure you that you’ve come to the right place. And you are welcome.

In the early days of motherhood, my prayer life was reduced to a Sunday routine. Honestly, at that season of my life, it was all I could manage. During these past few years, I have found myself wanting a much deeper faith. More and more, I feel a discontentment with the world’s expectations. They seem completely out of alignment with who I want to become. I immersed myself in the faith – the wisdom of the church fathers and the saints. I was very intentional about integrating ways that I can actively live out my faith every day. There is a profound joy in liturgical living that leads to authentic, deeper spiritual growth. I am by no means perfect, nor do I consider myself advanced in the faith. Embracing liturgical living as a way of life is at the heart of what I want to share with you.

A modern Catholic community…

A little over a decade ago, I discovered a community of Benedictine Cistercian Sisters in the heart of the Lake District. The retreats I have attended over the years and the guidance I received from the sisters has undoubtedly shaped my faith and home life. From the outset, the routine and structure of monastic life seemed to resonate with home life. Rather than simply adopting the faith as an intellectual option, I clearly saw how the rhythm of the monastery could translate into marriage and family life. And so I will be sharing inspiration for simple, frugal living based on monastic principles and traditions.

I hope you’ll join our growing community of like-minded women by signing up for my weekly newsletter, where I’ll share new resources, personal reflections, and tons of ideas for living out the faith in today’s demanding world. I’m also thrilled to bring you a collection of beautiful, inspiring journals, devotionals, and printables—tools designed to help you cultivate a consistent and meaningful prayer life. More details on these resources are coming soon!

Let this be the start of a new chapter. I am so excited to be able to walk alongside you on this beautiful journey. Let us begin…
